Google and Kaggle are bringing back their free AI Agents Intensive Course this June, and registration just opened. If you missed it last November — or you want a refresher with updated material — now’s your chance.
The first run reached over 1.5 million learners, which is a huge number for a free course. I’m not surprised. AI agents are the hot topic right now, and Google knows how to put together a solid learning experience when they want to.
This year’s version runs June 15-19, 2026. Five days, online, completely free. They’ve added new speakers, updated the lessons, and there’s a capstone project at the end. The focus this time is on “vibe coding” — which sounds like buzzword soup, but actually means building AI agents using natural language as the primary programming interface. You describe what you want, and the system handles the heavy lifting.
I’ve seen this approach tried in other contexts before, and it’s getting more practical as LLMs improve. The course covers everything from foundational concepts to production-ready systems. You’ll learn how to wire up tools and APIs to create agents that actually do useful work, not just demo tricks.
Each day mixes theory with hands-on examples. By the end, you’re supposed to be able to design, build, and deploy a real agent system. The capstone project is where you turn your own idea into something tangible.
Is it going to turn you into an expert in five days? Probably not. But it’s a solid introduction, especially if you’ve been reading about AI agents but haven’t built one yet. And for the price — free — it’s hard to complain.
You can register on the Google or Kaggle websites right now. Spots are limited, so if you’re interested, don’t wait until June.
